This page explains the information GraceMessenger uses when you send support.
Information you provide
We collect the name, email address, amount, optional message, and anonymous-display choice you enter, along with PayPal order and payment identifiers and payment status. PayPal processes your payment details; this site does not ask for or store your card number.
How it is used
We use this information to create and confirm support records, respond to payment questions, and display recent confirmed supporters. Your email address is not displayed publicly. If you choose anonymous display, your name is replaced with “Support”; an optional message may still appear publicly.
Website visit statistics
We use a first-party anonymous browser cookie, valid for up to 30 days, to estimate daily visitors and page views on our homepage. We store the visit date, a daily anonymous identifier, and a random page-view identifier. These statistics do not contain your name, email, payment details, or raw IP address and are visible only in the private dashboard. Different devices or cleared cookies can count separately. We skip this browser-based tracking when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can also block this cookie or JavaScript, which may affect the visitor estimate. Separately, the server counts homepage document requests, including repeat visits, refreshes, administrator visits and bots, without a visitor cookie or personal identifier. This aggregate request counter stores only the date and a random request identifier, continues when browser tracking is disabled, and is not a count of unique people.
Services and requests
The site uses PayPal for payments, Supabase to store support and page content, and Vercel to host the site. If you have a question about your support record or would like to request a change to your displayed name or message, please use the contact information shown in your PayPal transaction and provide its ID.
